Congratulations on being offered a place to study LLB Part I at the University of Auckland. We look forward to welcoming you to the Law School.

We are delighted to invite you to submit an application to participate in Bridge to Law School.

The purpose of Bridge to Law School is to assist students with navigating the transition from school to Law School and to feel more confident, connected and equipped to embark on their law studies.

Bridge to Law School includes opportunities to:

  • Develop academic skills specifically targeted towards supporting success in Part I Law.
  • Familiarise yourself with University and Law School systems.
  • Build and developing key academic relationships with peers.
  • Connect to the law school community and ongoing sources of academic and pastoral support.

If you are interested in participating, please note that you must be available to attend the programme sessions on the following days:

  • Saturday 8 March 2025: 10 am – 2.30 pm
  • Saturday 22 March 2025: 10 am – 2.30 pm
  • Saturday 12 April 2025: 10 am – 2.30 pm

This form is your application into Bridge to Law School. We request that you complete this form to support the start of your university journey. Please take time to answer each question, because part of the selection is based on the quality of your answers. Answer honestly, do not answer how you think we want you to!

By completing this form it is assumed, if selected, that you will complete the Bridge to Law School programme.

Please note, This programme is open to school leaver students starting LLB Part I or a conjoint with LLB Part I in Semester 1 2025.

You must be willing to commit to the programme and be able to attend all three of the scheduled events as above. In addition to the three days, there will be casual meetings with the mentors throughout the year.
